Beck Summer 2008 Tour

So far, a few festivals and a few regular shows have been announced.

Beck is beginning by hitting the Europe:

June 25, 2008: Beck is at the Hove Festival in Arendal, Norway
June 27, 2008: Beck will be at Columbiahalle in Berlin, Germany
June 28, 2008: Beck is playing the Open Air Festival in Switzerland
June 30, 2008: Beck will be at the Melkweg in Amsterdam
July 1, 2008: Beck solo show in Southampton, England
July 2, 2008: Beck solo show in Manchester, England
July 4, 2008: Beck will be at the Wireless Festival in London
July 6, 2008: Beck is playing the 4th day of the Werchter Festival
July 7, 2008: Beck show at the Olympia in Paris, France
July 9, 2008: Beck is doing a show at La Riviera in Madrid, Spain

then Beck appears to be hitting up the US:

Date: Sunday, November 25th

Location: Echoplex. Enter at 1154 Glendale Blvd. between Park & Scott Avenues in Echo Park.

Tickets: On Sale Friday, November 23rd at 5pm PST. Get them HERE

2 ticket limit. The only way to retrieve your tickets is at will call the night of the show. You MUST bring the credit card you used to purchase tickets and a matching, government-issued photo ID to the box office the night of the show. These tickets are non-transferable.

General Information: Ages 18+. Doors open at 7pm. Show starts at 8pm.

Tickets might be sold out, but if you’re really interested in going you might be able to find something on craigslist.

Our own almostaghost will be there reprazntn, so make sure to say hi if you see him.

Night Flight To Rio

Beck is reportedly opening for The Police on their South American tour this December.  All the reports I’ve seen are in Spanish, and I don’t know Spanish.  But some quick Google searches seem to say that Beck is involved at both shows in Argentina (Dec 1 & 2) and the show in Chile (Dec 5).  I’d assume also the show in Rio on Dec. 8 for now.

Will Beck play “Tropicalia,” “Deadweight,” and “Missing” all back to back?  I hope so!


Again, I don’t know Spanish, but from what I understand some fans in Chile have started a petition to get Beck to do a solo show separate from The Police while there. Go here if you want to sign:
