Beck did a short string of shows around Southern California at the end of February 2002, just prior to going and recording Sea Change in March.
The shows varied a bit: one was acoustic solo, one was a benefit concert with a band. This one was, I believe, an basically unannounced appearance at Jon Brion's Largo residency show (like had done a few times in the past).
Justin Meldal-Johnsen was with him on bass, and Jon Brion joined in a bit too.
This is the only time Beck has performed Kraftwerk's "Pocket Calculator."
Also first known "Sunday Morning" and "Sleepless Nights," which would become semi-regular covers for Beck.
