We had down that HBO sponsored this private show, and some of it was broadcast on The Sundance Channel. That was true, but also I found this:
"Along with the success of the house, Levi's Jeans ended on a high note with an exclusive concert by Beck at Harry O's, Park City's most popular venue on Main Street. Ben Lee and Z-Trip started out the evening, which culminated with an exceptional performance by Beck who played such favorites as Loser along with cover songs and hits from his new album. Beck, sporting his new Levi's(R) Type 1(TM) Jeans, rocked the house for almost two hours. The VIP section included such fans as Macaulay Culkin, Kieran Culkin, Chloe Sevigny, Mickey Rourke, Forest Whitaker, Daryl Hannah, Salma Hayek, Ileanna Douglas, Dominique Swain, Rachael Leigh Cook, Emily Van Camp, Jensen Ackles, Seth Green and Andy Dick."
So Levis was also a sponsor. And Beck got some new jeans! Ooh la la Sasson! Jordache turn it out!
Ben Lee opened, and Jason Schwartzman and Liz Phair joined his set for some songs.
As for Beck's set, the setlist report on beck.com did not include "Loser," yet this press release mentions it. DJ Z-Trip performed with the band. Though the LA Times said Beck played a quiet acoustic set, but I'm sure there must have been a band for at least the last few songs on the setlist. I'm not clear who was in his band exactly either, whether it was the same guys who hit NYC for some shows in February or not (Falkner, JMJ, etc.).
