Date: November 12, 2002
Leg: Sea Change Tour with Flaming Lips, Second Leg
Venue: Bass Concert Hall
City: Austin
State: Texas
Country: United States
Notes:
Show #34 of the Sea Change tours.
Show #14 of Beck/Flaming Lips tour.
Everything before "The Golden Age" was part of Beck's solo acoustic set.
Everything after "The Golden Age" was with the Lips.
Beck starts to sing "Go Easy" after asking the crowd if they want to hear a cover, but after the first 3 words, he decides not to do it. "Nice one, Beck!" is Wayne's comment from behind the curtain, as he starts "Sunday Sun" instead.; Beck resurrects "Release the Bats," an improv song he first improvised at his last visit to Austin.; Cool spacey fast version of "Pay No Mind"; Beck seems to be forgetting lyrics throughout the show - bits of "Paper Tiger" and "Nicotine & Gravy," for example.
