For a few weeks in 2006, Beck took to rapping "Hell Yes" while the band played the famous music from "Fame." A real live mash-up! This would also usually include bits of other songs as well sometimes.
As far as I know, Beck's never sung more of "Fame" than just the "faaaaaame" part. The band has a good go at it though.
After playing this mashup at a few special gigs in September/October 2006, they rested it.
Then 2 years later, when they did it once more at a special coffee shop gig in El Paso, the report said it was just a "Fame" and "Another One Bites The Dust" medley.

- Beck, of course, by all appearances is a huge David Bowie fan. Other Bowie-related tracks he has done: on stage, Beck has covered Across The Universe," "Fame," and "Win" (all 3 from Young Americans), as well as "Under Pressure" and "All The Young Dudes." In the studio, he released a version of Bowie's Diamond Dogs." David Bowie also asked Beck to remix his song "Seven."
