{"id":97,"date":"2007-10-17T13:43:41","date_gmt":"2007-10-17T18:43:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.whiskeyclone.net\/papertiger\/?p=97"},"modified":"2007-10-17T13:43:41","modified_gmt":"2007-10-17T18:43:41","slug":"night-flight-to-rio","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/whiskeyclone.net\/papertiger\/2007\/10\/17\/night-flight-to-rio\/","title":{"rendered":"Night Flight To Rio"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Beck is reportedly opening for The Police on their South American tour this December.\u00c2\u00a0 All the reports <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rollingstonela.com\/notaMostrar_cs.asp?nota_id=953617\">I&#8217;ve seen<\/a> are in Spanish, and I don&#8217;t know Spanish.\u00c2\u00a0 But some quick Google searches seem to say that Beck is involved at both shows in Argentina (Dec 1 &amp; 2) and the show in Chile (Dec 5).\u00c2\u00a0 I&#8217;d assume also the show in Rio on Dec. 8 for now.<\/p>\n<p>Will Beck play &#8220;Tropicalia,&#8221; &#8220;Deadweight,&#8221; and &#8220;Missing&#8221; all back to back?\u00c2\u00a0 I hope so!<\/p>\n<p>UPDATE:<\/p>\n<p>Again, I don&#8217;t know Spanish, but from what I understand some fans in Chile have started a petition to get Beck to do a solo show separate from The Police while there.
