To those of you in the So Cal area: Beck’s guitarist, Jessica Dobson has her own band, called Deep Sea Diver. They are playing a show on Thursday night at the Silverlake Lounge at 10pm. She asked us to spread the word, so hopefully it will be a full and fun show.<\/p>\n

[Edit: Jessica’s email said 10pm, but her MySpace bulletin said 9:30pm. So come early anyway, you don’t want to miss her!]<\/p>\n

The Silverlake Lounge, to make this even more Beck-related, is around the corner from where Beck recorded that argument that begins and inspires “Truckdrivin Neighbors.” Beck played the Lounge himself in a post-show show with Wounded Cougar in summer of 2006.<\/p>\n
