here is the video for the beck-produced “conquest” by the white stripes.
that shit gets stuck in my head! i like it, but i think i’m more interested in the other two songs beck did with them, “It’s My Fault For Being Famous” and “Honey, We Can’t Afford To Look This Cheap”.
the singles come out december 18 in the us and december 31 in the uk:
7″ One (Black vinyl)
A: Conquest
B: It’s My Fault For Being Famous7″ Two (White vinyl)
A: Conquest
B: Honey, We Can’t Afford To Look This Cheap7″ Three (Red vinyl)
A: Conquest (Acoustic Mariachi Version)
B: Cash Grab Complications On The MatterDigital Maxi Single (US only)
1. Conquest
2. It’s My Fault For Being Famous
3. Cash Grab Complications On The Matter
4. Honey, We Can’t Afford To Look This Cheap
5. Conquest (Acoustic Mariachi Version)
The single version, which is this version of Conquest isn’t produced by Beck, the mariachi version might be but I’m sure this version is the version on the album.
oh really? who produced the album version?
Well I’m not sure if you know but in case you don’t it’s a cover of a Patti Page song written by Corky Robbins and Jack White produced it. I think Beck did produce the mariachi version now.
can any one remember which one(s) have the beck postcard? and what the other ones include?
