Beck played another "warm-up" type gig at The Echo. The show cost 5 dollars, and he played for a little under an hour. I was at this show, he was sort of squeezed in between other bands who I don't recall.

The setlist originally had "Lost Cause," "Sunday Sun," "Devils Haircut" and "The New Pollution" but they were scratched at the last second (presumably for time). Live debuts of "Orphans" and "Soul Of A Man"!

I was at this show. I believe that this band started out pretty ragged, but very quickly grew--I don't mean tonight, but in general. This was at the beginning, only their second show, and they were still figuring things out, becoming familiar. Brian had been in the band awhile, but it's rare when Beck adds 3 entirely new band members at once. (And certainly not in a very long time.)
