Notes:
Beck showed up on Gilles Petersen's radio show, Worldwide Tonight. Beck "pulls up some tunes" to play, answers questions, chats. Here's what was played. I don't think the first 3 tracks were chosen by Beck, but the other non-Beck songs were picked by Beck from his "asexual" computer. It's a lot of old standby favorites like Caetano Veloso and Gary Wilson and Nick Drake, and some other cool tunes. He talks about collecting records, Brazilian music, whether he'd do a jazz album, whether he'd do a Brazilian album, his dance moves, Christina Ricci, his new band, keeping shows different/spontaneous, downloading his own bootlegs, Michel Gondry, new music he likes (Arcade Fire, Pinback, White Stripes, Black Keys, Yeah Yeah Yeahs), living on an island in a muu-muu, and he recommends Napoleon Dynamite.
The live "Round The Bend" was from a different appearence on Gilles' show, a couple years prior. It's not a great rendition, Beck sounds to be struggling a little with his voice. (Beck says after that he remembers being out of tune and a little under the weather too.)
