Notes: Setlist unconfirmed and clearly incomplete, I just picked titles from a couple of newspaper reviews. Though one of the reviews claims the acoustic set included "Farewell Ride" (perhaps) and "Go It Alone" (doubt it). (But I included them anyway.)
Anyway, this was the now famous show debut of Wounded Cougar. Jamie Lidell had opened up much of the tour, and would some later shows, but for some reason could not be there tonight. So Beck's band went out as Wounded Cougar and rocked the hell out of Tucson. One review noted "Although there was no opening band scheduled for Beck's Tucson debut, an 80s poser metal band called Wounded Cougar, supposedly from Yuma, opened wtih a few improvisational songs wearing aviators, tight jeans, acid wash T-shirts and wigs." This led to their quick creation of a myspace page, random club gigs around LA, an insanely awesome album, and a sudden flame out and crash, leading to legend status.
