Date: August 9, 1997
Event: HORDE Festival
Leg: Odelay North American Tour 6
Venue: Great Woods
City: Mansfield
State: Massachusetts
Country: United States
Notes:
Sound quality of this boot is a little thin, so the show ends up sounding more flat and lifeless than it probably was. It's still a clear soundboard though, so definitely worth checking out.
This show was part of the two weeks Beck did on the HORDE Festival. Thus, the set is a little shorter than a regular tour show.
"Thunder Peel" is sweet, and flows effortlessly into "Loser." At the end of "Loser," Beck sings a few lines from "Hotwax." Beck introduces "Asshole" as "sometimes called 'Manchild.'" He doesn't sing that as the chorus though. A fan is invited on stage to beatbox for "One Foot In The Grave," but the guards don't let him up. "So much for spontaneity" is Beck's response.
