"Are you ready to cause a ruckus?!" is Beck's enthusiastic greeting, and that's what they proceed to do.; Beck causes lots of ruckuses, shouting random lines like "melted mustard hot dogs" in the middle of "Novacane" or "we wanna get with you" before "New Pollution" or dedicating "Hotwax" to Jimmy Carter.; I love the way Smokey plays the "Loser" riff tonight, less rowsing rock, and more of a slinky blues. Also check the cool way they build the bridge of the song before the ending. The Odelay band was always doing little things like that their own inspired way.; Songs 11-13 were Beck's solo set.;
