This was the first day of the Rock Torhout-Werchter Festival. First day was all in Torhout, then all the bands went and played in Werchter too.
The closing bands on the main stage were Smashing Pumpkins and The Prodigy. Beck, somewhat surprisingly, was on the smaller non-main stage, though David Byrne was there too and the stages did not overlap in time - so it was more like the two stages alternated. Radiohead was on the other stage, right before Beck.
