After playing all summer in 1995 with Sonic Youth on Lollapalooza, and then going to Australia on the Summersault Festival tour with them in January, Beck joins them again--opening the first 10 shows of their My So Called Tour in Europe, all as a solo acoustic set. Sonic Youth truly was an integral part in increasing Beck's success, and truly helped bring up his rep from goofy "Loser" guy.
One short review said Beck played a "trilogy" song which I take to mean "Mexico" (see the night before this one).
According to the sonicyouth.com, Beck joined SY on their second encore, "Silver Rocket." He'd played this song with them at a Lollapalooza show in 8 months earlier as well.
