Notes:Capacity at the time was around 200 (seen reports between 125-300). One report said it was a "long narrow club" (see Beck's quote below too), and it got an impressive number of big acts before they were big.
Setlist unknown, but one review noted that he did NOT play "Loser." Also, apparently there were quite long lines and not everyone could get in (not unusual for this tour; Beck was too famous to play these tiny spots).
Also an interviewer in 1995 mentioned this show to him:
Q: I saw you play a great gig at J.C. Dobbs a few years back.
Beck: That was where the stage was so small we were like standing in a line.
Q: You had a can of Cheez Whiz.
Beck: I don't think I did. Maybe somebody else did. I'm sort of horrified by canisters of repelling cheese.
Q: Do you still make sandwiches for people in the audience?
Beck: I was doing that for a while because every show we would get a big jar of peanut butter. It was ridiculous - we couldn't eat the whole jar. So I just started making sandwiches 'cause it gets boring backstage.
