Beck performed for the Grammy Salute to the Beach Boys, which aired on CBS a few months later (April 9).

There were a lot of other artists, each singing a Beach Boys song or two. Beck performed "Sloop John B". He also joined Jim James (of My Morning Jacket) for his cover of "Good Vibrations".

There was a big house band that backed the singers, that included Beck's regular bandmates Jason Falkner and Roger Joseph Manning Jr.
