Beautiful short little radio appearence in London in 1995. Radio shows over there are actually a bit more than just a live performance, and sometimes even allow for overdubs.
This is probably the best recording of the legendary alternate "Static" (not the same song as is on Mutations). The "Jack-ass" starts folky, but here Beck fills it out with bass, percussion, and slinky electric slide guitar. Similarly, Beck adds more slide guitar to "Cyanide Breath Mint" (as well as some backing vocals). Beck turns "Grinnin' In Your Face" into a Beefheart-y blues deconstruction.
