Beck did a solo acoustic show at SXSW in Austin. It was billed as ACL Live (Austin City Limits). It was not a totally solo show. Apparently, Beck was at SXSW the day before the show and saw Jesse Ebaugh playing a late night set at a club (possibly with Beck's friend, Weyes Blood). He then asked Ebaugh to join him during his show. Ebaugh played pedal steel guitar throughout the set.
According to the comments on setlist.fm, Beck made up new lyrics for "Hollow Log," "Blue Moon" was just a short excerpt and not the full song, and "Dead Melodies" was per audience request, but he couldn't remember it and stopped.
