concert info
Date: June 28, 2023
Event: FNAC Live Paris
Venue: L'Hôtel de Ville
City: Paris
Country: France
Notes:
Beck performed a solo acoustic gig in Paris on June 28, 2023. Best I can tell, it seems to be part of a sort of festival, where there is music at different spots around the Hotel de Ville (a sort of city hall). Tickets were free too.
Beck did include one of the songs he wrote for Charlotte Gainsbourg ("Heaven Can Wait"). The only other time he's performed this song was ten years earlier, also in Paris, and Charlotte joined him on stage for it (she's French).
Looking at this note, Beck stuck with almost entirely just old acoustic faves. "Thinking About You" was new at the time (and I guess his "Old Man" cover), but everything else was particularly ancient. A real throwback setlist.
