Notes:
The Byron Bay Bluesfest is a 5-day festival in Australia. Beck played an acoustic set on the second day, where he performed on the Crossroads stage. Gang of Youths headlined his day, playing after him.
Beck's set was billed as solo acoustic, but for the three Australian shows, he did pick up two backing musicians (Shane Reilly on pedal steel and Shawn Supra on bass). For this shortened festival show in particular, it seems they were on stage the whole time. (I think just "Everybody's Gotta Learn" and "Old Man" were down purely solo.)
I really enjoy the pedal steel and hearing it on things like "Lost Cause" or "Sissyneck" is very cool. Beck played a piano for "Where It's At" too.
