This was the 8th show of the Night Running tour with Cage the Elephant and Spoon.
The band Starcrawler opened the first 8 shows of the tour, as well, and this was their final night with the tour. Beck had Starcrawler's singer, Arrow de Wilde, come out during "Where It's At" and she sings "Search and Destroy" with them. (Arrow is Autumn de Wilde's daughter, who has photographed Beck many times over the years, including the cover of Sea Change for one.) "I've known her since she was a very tiny Arrow," Beck tells everyone.
As he did two shows earlier, Beck does his new solo electric jam on "Debra." (Before it, he teased a line or two of "Sexx Laws" for fun.)
After "Girl," says they'll cut a song and asks if the crowd wanted a moonlight serenade or a high-rolling, high-powered one. Seems they chose the latter, and they drop "Lost Cause" and dive into "Mixed Bizness." Beck feels bad later, and sneaks a little bit of "Lost Cause" between "E-Pro" and "Where It's At" though (a very odd place for it). (Like "Debra", he plays it on electric guitar alone, which is unique.)
Most of the show is fully available on Youtube, except I did not find "Black Tambourine," "Mixed Bizness," and for some reason, all the regular band members' covers in "Where It's At" ("Search," "Night," and "One Foot" are there).
