Notes:
Beck appeared at a benefit concert for The Boys And Girls Club Of Malibu, performing as part of a supergroup with a bunch of other Malibu-based musicians (like Chad Smith from The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Chris Martin of Coldplay). Beck also took the lead and performed a couple of his own songs.
Beck sang and played guitar on "The Golden Age" and "Where It's At." The band backed him on "Where It's At," with Chris Martin playing piano.
Beck joined the band to back Chris Martin on all the classic rock covers. The band included Chad Smith on the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Roy Bittan from Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band, Jakob Dylan, Butch Walker, and Davide Rossi. The lead guitarist was not a rock star, but a local judge, Cesar Sarmiento. I think there may have been another musician or two on stage I have not placed.
They covered: The Beach Boys' "Surfin' USA," Pink Floyd's "Comfortably Numb," Bruce Springsteen's "My Hometown," and Prince's "Raspberry Beret." Martin also sang a Coldplay song, and his two kids also came and sang covers on their own (Beck wasn't involved with those).
