Octet's remix of "Girl" is a bonus b-side on some versions of Guero, and also represents "Girl" on Guerolito. Their version of the song alternates from a nice rolling piano to some pounding guitars, before dissolving into electronica noise.
Octet was a French electro pop duo of Benjamin Morondo and Francois Goujon; though I believe by the point of this remix, Goujon had left and vocalist Suzanne Thoma was Morondo's partner in the group.
