The Song:

"Silently" is a song by the band That Dog, to which Beck lends his banjo-playing talents. The song appeared on the CD Hear You Me! which was a tribute to two Weezer fans who had died in a car crash. It seems the song also appears on That Dog's album, Totally Crushed Out!, but I'm not sure if that's a different version without Beck or not.

Notes:

Members of That Dog have, of course, backed Beck on a number of his recordings from the early years. To name a few, "Totally Confused," "The World May Loose Its Motion," and "Blackhole" have all or some of the band on them. That Dog has also opened concerts for Beck, as well as backed him on radio shows.
