Lyrics:
Magic Stationwagon [Version (a)]:

Bony fingers out my slimy coffin
Drag upon the rag, it's a ????
Kill my inspiration
Crowd into your stationwagon

You're like a fishing pole
??? spread the lead on the cracker
And a magic chicken cloth
Freezing squeezing ??
Butter and a bag of chips

The Song:

It's fairly obvious that Beck, when younger, loved to make tapes. He'd record his out-of-tune guitar on to a tape, and then perform over the playback, recording that on to another tape. He would continue this on and on, until the original song/performance was quite inaudible.

Surely, this is how "Magic Stationwagon" came to be. A huge, clunky acoustic guitar and layers of Beck's vocals make this a muddled, noisy track. You can tell that it began as a song though, it's just been buried. The lyrics are distorted enough to be pretty much indecipherable, but they're clear enough to be intriguing.
