Beck joined The Black Keys in the studio for their 2024 album, Ohio Players. He played on and cowrote about half of the songs. "This Is Nowhere" is the opening track on the album.

Beck's credits for this song are as a cowriter and he sings background vocals. Beck did put "alligator tears" in his song, "Chemical," so maybe that line was his.
