Lyrics:
Strange invitation
Strange invitation
Strange invitation
Strange invitation
Strange invitation
Strange invitation
Strange invitation

I've been drifting along in the same stale shoes
Loose ends tyin' a noose in the back of my mind
If you thought that you were making your way
To where the puzzles and pagans lay
I'll put it together, it's a strange invitation

Strange invitation
Strange invitation
Strange invitation
Strange invitation

When I wake up, someone will sweep up my lazy bones
And we will rise in the cool of the evening
I remember the way that you smiled
When the gravity shackles were wild
But something is vacant when I think it's all beginning

Strange invitation
Strange invitation
Strange invitation
Strange invitation

I've been drifting along in the same stale shoes
Loose ends tyin' a noose in the back of my mind
If you thought that you were making your way
To where the puzzles and pagans lay
I'll put it together, it's a strange invitation

It's a strange invitation
It's a strange invitation
It's a strange invitation
It's a strange invitation
It's a strange invitation
It's a strange invitation
It's a strange invitation

The Song:

This remix of "Jack-ass" appears on the single. It was done by Butch Vig, the famous producer for Nirvana and Smashing Pumpkins and Sonic Youth. Vig also did this remix of "Jack-ass." The Lowrider mix is much more interesting, as Vig applies a heavy bass line and a slight techno flair to the song. He also uses the "strange invitation" over and over, as the hook. I like how Vig chopped up the main keyboard riff as well.
