In order to make it feel more authentic, Beck filled out his Song Reader book with fragments of melodies and songs, as well as fictional album collections and song titles. On the back of "Do We? We Do" there is an ad for four songs labelled You Asked The Questions! Now Hear The Answers!. Each song is in the form of an "answer," such as this one, "We Did (But We Probably Shouldn't Have)." Beck wrote a couple of lines and a melody for each of these four songs.
