| An independent film by Julien Nitzberg. This is the only place where the studio version of Megaboob was released. Unfortunately, it only plays for about 10-15 seconds (at around 54:22) so we don't even really get to hear it.
Interestingly, one of the stars of this movie, Mary Lynn Rajskub, also appeared in Beck's New Pollution video. I guess Beck and Nitzberg were friends, so it's not that surprising. There are a bunch of other songs on here that are supposedly unreleased tracks by cool people, but I only recognized Calvin Johnson in the song over the end credits. Also, supposedly the soundtrack was put together by Mike Simpson of the Dust Brothers. Unfortunately, there are no music credits so the details are unclear. This was never really released but played at some festivals and maybe in some independent theatres. | ||
