Notes:Lance Hahn, Beck's guitarist for parts of 1994 and 1995, let us know about this show, his first with Beck. The show was a benefit for the family of John Schillaci, who worked at Gold Mountain, Beck's management company, and who died in a car accident. This was a benefit show to help raise money for his family's expenses.
Bobcat Goldthwait was the emcee and Beck and co. headlined with the Smithereens, Crazy Horse (without Neil Young), Wailing Souls, and another band that had DJ Bonebreak from X drumming.
I wanna say we at least played "Color Coordinated",
"Loser", "Beercan"... I dunno. It was a 90 minute set
as most of them were with us doing the first half,
Beck doing a solo acoustic bit in the middle and the
band coming back for the final portion...
Apparently, Beck had been really busy around this time and didn't have a lot of time for practicing, so Lance was playing some songs that night without ever having heard them before, and was simply playing from notes/tabs he had. That's hardcore.
