This show opens with a long improvised instrumental jam, highlighted by Beck getting the crowd into it, before a short verse from "Clap Hands" slowly emerges from the beats. Fun and energetic way to start, but then the show immediately falls back into a standard-type setlist (though the performance remains pretty hot).

"Girl" sounds fresh, these Guero songs were still new and interesting and exciting!

The first "Where It's At" was led by Tron playing the riff on a strange metallic ringy keyboard synth sound, which Beck digs and starts singing the song over. It lasts about a minute. They do the song for "real" later. Strange setlist, with two "Clap Hands" and two "Where It's At"s!

"Send A Message To Her" is played a bit slower, a nice slow burn of a song.

As always with these Guero shows, I find "Broken Drum" to be the showstopper--it's got such a pulse on stage.
