Leg: Sea Change Tour with Flaming Lips, Second Leg
Venue: Lied Center Of Kansas
City: Lawrence
State: Kansas
Country: United States
Notes:
Show #37 of the Sea Change tours.
Show #17 of Beck/Flaming Lips tour.
Everything before "The Golden Age" was part of Beck's solo acoustic set.
Everything after "The Golden Age" was with the Lips.
Tour debuts of "Kangaroo" and "MTV Makes Me Want To Smoke Crack."
Beck finally relents to sing one of the most requested songs, "MTV Makes Me Want To Smoke Crack." It's not much, as Beck doesn't seem to remember more than 2 lines of the chorus, but he gives it a shot.; Sounds like some equipment breaks or something during "Who Loves the Sun?" "Just like Limp Bizkit, but not as limp," is Beck's comment afterwards.; With the new electronicy arrangements each, "Pressure Zone" and "Minus" make a cool and weird back-to-back duo.; After a few kind of lifeless performances of "Sissyneck," the guys finally nail one... very funky and fun tonight.;
