Notes:
After two years off, more or less, due to the pandemic, Beck returns to first big tour with a show at Primavera Sound 2022 in Barcelona, where he co-headlined the second night of the first weekend.
The show also saw the live debut of a new drummer (who I don't yet know the name of).
The setlist was very long, but that is misleading a bit; basically every track was done as a truncated version, and there were even quite a few taped intros/transitions and not actually done by the band. I would say the only tracks that were even close to "full" versions were "Girl" and "Loser" and maybe "Debra."
Still, Beck pulled from all over his career for quite an over-arching set.
Notes: the first track wasn't live, just a sort of 'walk-on' music. Other transitional "clips" were the "Colors," the first "Hotwax" (called on the setlist "Wizard transition"), and "Phase" (listed as "Morning Phase" but played with "Morning").
Some of these songs haven't been played in awhile: "Diamond Bollocks" not since 2012, "Hotwax" not since 2014, "Missing" not since 2009, Beck has only played "Morning" twice before (once in 2013 before it was released, another time in 2020 on an instagram live appearance), and lastly this was the live debut of "Stratosphere."
