Occasionally throughout this tour, Beck starts the shows with an acoustic set and he did that tonight. They began with 6-7 Morning Phase songs (and "Lost Cause"). It's a nice change, and I think "Blue Moon" is quite a cool way to open a show. "We're gonna build up to a mid-level frenzy," Beck warns everyone.

More noteworthy: the Newport Folk Festival was also happening this weekend, and tonight was the third and final night. (Beck headlined it in 2013, and went to watch some of it in the days off before tonight's show.) The headliner this year was Jack White, who after his Newport set, came over to Beck's show and joined in on the encore! He played acoustic guitar and traded lead vocals on a dynamic "Pay No Mind," took the slide guitar lead and sang backup on "Loser" (Jack really brings out the blues on this song). One of the longer "Where It's At" ever, which includes the band going into The Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin, before Sean Lennon plays a crazy tambourine solo and Jack White drops a crazy guitar solo and Beck plays a crazy harmonic solo. "Said Jack White turn it up!" Epic.

Tour debuts of "Unforgiven" and "Pay No Mind."

Highlights: "Country Down," "Heart Is A Drum," "Unforgiven," "Hell Yes." And of course the whole Jack White encore, which truly gets the crowd REVVED up and ends the show quite spectacularly.
