Beck's long Mellow Gold tours ended in December 1994. A few weeks later, he was home, and stopped in to KCRW to promote his gig opening for Johnny Cash in LA the next night. He played a few blues covers (Skip James, Blind Willie Johnson and Son House are all represented) as well as some of his own more blues-y songs ("Feel The Strain Of Sorrow" and "Curses"). Between songs there's chatter with the DJ.
Only known version of "Feel The Strain" and "Curses." Most the others are relatively rare too.
