A relatively spontaneous show, announced just 3-4 days before it happened. It was at a small club, the 500-person capacity Independent.

The show is pretty typical of Beck's set the last few years: racing through a bunch of his rock songs at an almost frantic medley-like pace. But it was about this time that Beck and his MoGu band really started to kick it up a notch, their chemistry and skills caught up and they were really a great group.

Highlights: a totally seductive "Nicotine & Gravy," a mammoth "Replica," a deep "Orphans," and a rare "Volcano" (only played live 4 times).
