Beck was in the KCRW studio to promote the "Loser" single and his show later that day at Troy Cafe. This is the first of Beck's many KCRW appearences, the station that helped break "Loser" and continue to be huge Beck supporters to this day.; This is a great document, just awesome.;

The set begins with Beck singing live vocals over a tape of "Loser," karaoke-style. He fills it out with funny ad-libs. Slice the mango!; After that, Beck picks up his guitar and plays "Mexico."; After that, he plays banjo while Dallas Don adds drums to the only live "Death Is Coming To Get You."; The truly bizarre "Whimsical Actress" also gets its only known live performance. Awesome! Beck is silly.; "MTV" is also played, but to a tape of some piano, and Beck sings it in the style of a lounge singer.
