Lyrics:
She Was a Beautiful Woman [Version (a)]:

Dreamed of a beautiful woman
My nose started to bleed
My hair was shedding like a dog
My wife put my name on the bowl
She put my body in the grave
Nightmares always keep me alive
I was treated like a dog in a castle
Blind 'cause they plucked out my eyes
Fear is the key to boredom
Money is the key to your eyes
Fat lady singing, she's licking your face as you smile
The city is flooded with wild turkey
The cars are all useless now
Stripped on top of the river
Here is the key to my beauty
Love is the key to her eyes
Hair shedding like a dog
My wife put my name on the bowl

The Song:

This, I believe, is one of the Liquor Cabinet songs that circulates on a 1992 Beck tape. Back in the day, Beck played guitar in the band with Steve Hanft, who would later direct some of Beck's videos. I'm not even sure if Beck is on this song, though until disproven, we can assume he plays guitar behind Hanft.

The song title is unofficial. I think the first line is "Dreamed of a beautiful woman" myself, to be honest.
