"Tugboat" is one of my all-time favorite songs and I'm excited that Beck covered it! The original is by Galaxie 500 and can be found on their killer album, Today.
Beck performed a quick version of the song at his show in Boston in 2013. Galaxie 500 is from Boston, and two of the band (Damon and Naomi) were in the audience when Beck played it. (Damon tweeted about it.) I don't know if that was a complete coincidence or not, but how cool!
