It is part of a series of six instrumentals that are all titled similarly: a disease/affliction followed by a dance (like "Mutilation Rag"). Beck only wrote one of them, the other titles are just for humor: "Mutilation Rag," "Abomination Waltz," "Debasement Bagatelle," "Immolation Interlude," "Laryngitis Lullaby," "Quadrille Of Disquietude," and "Twelve-Step Two-Step."
