Lyrics:
Open Up Them Pearly Gates [Version (a)]:

Listen all of you people
Come and take a few lessons from me
Get yourselves prepared for judgment day

Hallelujah lujah
When you hear the trumpet blast
Then you know you're home at last
Open up them pearly gates for me

Why don't you
Open up them pearly gates for me
Open up them pearly gates for me
Open up them pearly gates for me

Hallelujah lujah
When you hear the trumpet blast
Then you know you're home at last
Open up them pearly gates for me

All you gambling sinners
Now it's time to start believing
You're gonna meet your maker some sweet day

Hallelujah lujah
When you hear the trumpet clear
Gonna say goodbye to fear
Open up them pearly gates for me

The Song:

In order to make it feel even more authentic, Beck filled out his Song Reader book with fragments of songs and melodies, and even fictional album collections and made-up song titles. "Open Up Them Pearly Gates" is listed as part of Ye Midnight Stars, a collection of "songs from the afterlife."

Many of the titles on Ye Midnight Stars are jokey phrases related to death, heaven, gospel music, etc. This one is an actual older gospel song, from the 1930s. A folk group, The Seekers, also did the song in the 1960s.
