"How To Get To Temecula" is listed in a collection of "far-flung melodies" about various exotic locations. While most of the song titles throughout Song Reader are references to older sheet music/songs, most of the "far-flung" ones are just humorous jokes/puns about different cities or countries. (Perhaps it is a reference to something more specific, but searching it just leads to maps/directions.)
