Lyrics:
Tigers [Version (a)]:

I caught you streaking in your Birkenstocks
A scary thought in the two Ks
It's not too late, it's in two days
Got enveloped in your sticker shock
I gotta tell you, it's a barrage
It's a barrage, it's a mirage

We are the tigers
We need separate rooms
We are so divided
Let us in
Change is all we need to improve

Call me petty, I mean every word
The ands, the ifs, the buts and the thes
Trust me because I am worth hating
I'm a 1-800 you can vent
A garden variety amends
Rules we can bend, insular narrow

We are the tigers
We need separate rooms
We are so divided
Let us in

Hard to believe I never had a spleen
Never had a spleen
Never had a dream
??? throw you in the steel

The Song:

In 2010 or so, Beck called up Stephen Malkmus and offered his services as a producer. Malkmus and his band, The Jicks, took him up on the offer and Beck produced their album, Mirror Traffic. Beck does not perform on the album, he is merely the producer.

"Tigers" is the opening track from the album.
